The experience begins when in the Favela do Vidigal Square (Praça do Vidigal) you will hop on a motorbike to cross the community and reach the entrance to the trail, you will begin a walk of around 1,500 meters in length. The Morro Dois Irmãos trail is steep and it will take around 1 hour to reach the top. After a few minutes of walking you will have views of São Conrado and Favela da Rocinha. At the top, you will see Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema and Christ the Redeemer.
Break to rest, eat and take incredible photos. You will even have the option of rappelling the top. But they need to notify you in advance so that the guide can take safety equipment. It has an additional cost of $10 per person. It's so worth it!
But if you're afraid, no problem, you can enjoy the moment and one of the most beautiful views of Rio de Janeiro.
Another suggestion is the sunrise at Mirante Dona Marta or Pedra do Telégrafo. They are simply incredible!
To come down, if you want, we can walk through the favela until we finishe the experience or take the mototáxi again.
